Colleen Spitz G'07

Colleen began her graduate studies at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications immediately after earning her bachelor’s degree. After receiving her master's degree, she interned for Time, Inc. and later transitioned into a marketing communications role at RobsonWoese, Inc., in Syracuse, NY. A return to Rochester led her to Eagle Productivity Solutions where she worked for five years as a lead writer and instructional designer, developing training curriculum for clients in the healthcare industry.

She recently joined Rochester Institute of Technology as the edX Program Coordinator. In her current role, she collaborates with faculty and staff to develop and maintain online programs delivered on the edX platform to learners around the world.

Colleen has a bachelor's degree in Art History from SUNY Potsdam and a master's degree from Syracuse University in Magazine, Newspaper & Online Journalism. She joined the SU Alumni Club of Rochester Board in 2012 and held the office of Membership Director/Secretary from 2013 – 2016. She currently holds the position of Communications Director/Secretary.
