Mary Harris G'82
Mary Harris is a human resources professional with significant experience in employee relations, learning and development, and recruiting, as well as in leading human resource teams. Her professional experience includes work in corporations, non-profit organizations, and in higher education. On a part-time basis, she is currently the Senior Human Resources Administrator at Willow Domestic Violence Center. As principal of MHH Consulting, she coaches individuals in career transition.
At Kodak, Harris held several positions, including Educational Consultant, Director of Executive Recruiting, and Director of Resolution Support Services. From Kodak, Harris was named the Director of Internal Communication at Carestream Health, a divested unit of Kodak.
In addition to these roles, Harris worked in administration at the University of Rochester, in training and development at Apple, and as an adjunct instructor in Business Administration at SUNY College at Brockport.
She earned a BA in Psychology from SUNY College at Brockport, an MBA from Syracuse University, and certification as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society of Human Resource Management. Harris is past president of the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Rochester.
